Issuing A Refund

In the event that you need to issue a refund on your website, there are a couple of ways to do so:

From the Finances Tab:

1. Navigate to the Finances tab.

2. Find the donation you would like to refund, and click the pen icon on the left:

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on the orange “Refund donation” button.

4. You will be asked if you want to refund the donation. Click “ok.” If your donation has been completed successfully, you will see a4.png  on their donation, instead of a check mark.

 

 

 

From the People Tab:

  1. Navigate to the People tab. Search for the person in the top right corner Search box.

2. Once you find the person you are searching for, click on the donation (highlighted below in yellow).

3. You will be directed to a list of their transactions. Find the transaction you would like to refund, and click the pen icon on the left.

4. Click on the orange “Refund donation” button on the bottom right of the page.

5. You will be asked if you want to refund the donation.

6. If your donation has been completed successfully, you will see a25.png  on their donation, instead of a check mark.
